Do you know what to do if your pet has been "in the wars"? What about if they eat something you think may be poisonous? How do you bandage a cut paw, and does it need veterinary attention or can you just look after it at home?
All of these questions and many more will be answered in an evening talk by the wonderful Oak Barn Vets of Shalford in conjunction with ForPaws! The presentation will cover dog and cat first aid including:
- Wounds, bleeding and dressings.
- Injuries to the mouth, eyes and ears.
- Fits, fainting and breathing difficulties.
- Stomach upset & toxins
- Bites, stings and allergies.
Whilst discussing what to do should to help your pet if they need first aid, Corrine will also discuss ways to reduce the risk of this happening.
Tickets cost just £7 and include the talk and refreshments - profits will be going to the Blue Cross. The talk will start at 7.30pm on Wednesday 28th May 2013 at the Upper Hall, Shalford Village Halls, Shalford, GU4 8JE.
