This form is to capture details of any medication that your pet needs whilst in our care.  Before accepting the booking, our petsitter will be in touch to discuss this and to ensure that they are able to administer the medication appropriately and as directed.  We ask that our clients demonstrate giving medications to their pet, ideally in person, but a video of this is also useful!  All medications we administer must be prescribed by a veterinarian for your pet. 

Whilst we are fully insured with Pet Plan Sanctuary, our policy terms exempt pre-existing veterinary health conditions, and therefore the administering of medication for these conditions, from coverage within the ‘care and custody of animals' section of our insurance.  If you wish us to administer medication to your pet on your behalf, you must confirm you understand your pet's condition is excluded from our insurance coverage, and you must agree to pay any costs that may arise in connection with the condition or the administration of the medication, irrespective of liability.  Clients must also acknowledge that we are unable to guarantee precise timings for petsitting visits (this is on a best endeavours basis) and if very precise timings are critical to the management of a condition, then we would urge clients to consider whether we are the correct pet care option for them.
